We have just completed a move from LA to Dallas mid-August 2017 with the help from Burkle Transport. Burkle Transport was referred to us by our apartment manager, but it is a local mover. In the beginning, we were thinking about using a national mover to do this job — worrying about the reliability and thinking that this is not a local mover. However, the more research we do, the more we find out that even the national movers are NOT reliable — for the service and pick-up & delivery dates. The tier-one national movers are just not within our budget and the long delivery time is not economical to us — the hotel fees we have to spend. And the car movers are not reliable either unless we pay up to around $1,000 car. Due to the fact that Burkle Transport is a local mover, they have to come back to LA, resulting a slightly higher cost to us, which can be offset by the reduced hotel fees if we were going to use a national mover. So we decided to DRIVE our two cars across several states in 3 days with 4 people and a small dog, and hire Burkle Transport to handle the move. 

Honestly, I was a bit worry with our decision, because due to my short notice to Burkle Transport, they could not allocate a larger trailer to store all our belongings. I worried whether it would be safe to have some of our stuff on the back and inside of his pick-up truck. This is NOT a local move, but an out-of-state move which would last for 3 days. 

Initially, they should finish the loading within several hours, because I had pre-packed most of the stuff. I was wrong! They were VERY careful in packing some of my furniture and belongings to the extent that I had to say that I am impressed. Please understand that I had done quite a few move in my life, including moving from Texas to Shanghai and from Shanghai to KL, Malaysia, and then back to the US. I told Austin (Burkle Transport) that I would definitely write a testimony for his excellent service to my family. 

They are reliable and honest. Having moved to a temporary house in Dallas and just bought a new house to move, when asking my local friends which companies they recommend to use, the common answer that I got was “they are ALL bad”. Sad to hear that, but certainly I experienced that Burkle Transport is a DIFFERENT class of mover. You can trust them. I wish to find another mover like Burkle Transport in Dallas in the next few days for my next move. Austin, may God bless you and thank you for your service.
